May 1st 5.30pm is our opening time and date for this season. Our 20 th year as it happens. Where has the time gone? I remember clearly our first night open when it felt like we were playing at bars the place was full of locals giving us support (and enjoying the free drink!!) well we are still well supported by the locals both expat and spanish and catalan alike and we do appreciate that. Every year we welcome back regular holiday makers and new people who we hope will become regulars. I cant stop cooking since I got back from Ballymaloe cookery school and have just finalised the menu for this year. Lots of new dishes alongside the old favourites. We cant wait for this season to start!!

It is that time of year again to prepare for the summer season 2014. We are having a new look Guinness Tavern from the outside with a lager and improved terrace. A new look menu with some new dishes but still the same familiar faces Chris and Rachel, Nicky and Ana. This year is extra special for us as it marks our 20 year anniversary in the restaurant. We hope to see many familiar faces again this year as well as welcoming many new ones.

Dont let the bad wether put you off come up for something to eat, sit next to the fire its cosy and warm and a lovelly atmosphere.

Its a new season we have a great team and are all looking forward to getting going and getting busy, to seeing all our regulars and meeting new future regulars! Theres a few new additions on the menu along with all the old favourites, great steaks, chicken wraps guinness pie, baked salmon etc and not forgetting my fam...ous banoffee pie We have even lowered the prices on some things just to help in this time of crisis.
